Victoria Knysh takes the lead as the new Art Director at Mag Studio
Victoria Knysh is the new Art Director of Mag Studio. Victoria is a graphic designer and illustrator. Over the past few years she has been working as a professional photographer also. In Bulgaria she is known as one of the organisers of the short film festival Future Shorts, part of a worldwide network promoting short films. She is responsible for the Bulgarian selection of films shown at the festival.
Victoria is one of the pioneers of Bulgarian visual culture. „Bulgaria's visual culture is poor. I am therefore glad that I have the chance to organise this festival and show work of great quality", Victoria Knysh says.
Only recently Victoria completed a British Council project, called OPENCities. The project took place in 14 European cities, Victoria being the coordinator for Bulgaria. Her task was to show how foreigners live in Bulgaria and to demonstrate their contribution to the city they live in.
Prior to this Victoria worked extensively with the popular environmental initiative Gorichka, as well as with Edno magazine, illustrating their Green guides.
